My family and I are deciding to go to Niagara Falls during the month of July. Its our first trip out there and we aren’t sure if we should stick in the U.S. and just go to the New York side, or go to Canada and view it from there.

Viewing from the Canadian side is much better if you want to see the full beauty of the falls. I have been on both sides and Canada has us beat as far as the view goes hands down.
My wife use to live up that way and shes says the Canada side is the best.
So my answer is “Yes Dear”.

Definatly, Canada side!
Canadian side we are able to see the whole view of the falls and theres a lot more to see and do.
No question, the Canadian side. If you look across, the US side of the falls is actually quite puny by comparison.
The Canadian side is so much better that the US government filmed from Canada when they made a publicity film about visiting Niagara Falls in the USA.
You will have to have passports to cross over to the Canadian side, so if you do not have them that’s another expense.[Lots of hotel deals at Niagara Falls at the moment.]
