We are traveling there in a couple of weeks and we only have 4 days. We are looking for restaurants that might have 4, 5+ course dinners. I heard there are a few that offer a 7-course meal (?). We are also interested in just basic dining to experience traditional french cuisine, popular pastry/bakery places, and other popular places. Since we’re heading all the way to France, we must experience Escargot!

So I’m French and I dont understand what you mean by ‘4, 5+ course dinners’ so i wont help with it but about food, i can give you advices ^^
You should not eat escargots ^^ it’s weird I dont understand why tourists always want to eat that! Try oysters, people eat that often than escargots!
You should totally go to a Patisserie, pick one of each cakes they have, sit on a bench in front of the Seine and enjoy it !!! Not very healthy but so gooood my favourites : éclair au chocolats, choux à la crème, opéra, tiramisu, macarons. You should eat macarons from Pierre Hermé, eat an ice cream Berthillon (it’s in saint louis quarter)
The best way to eat ‘typical’ french food is to go to restaurants in the streets just have a look to the menu if you could like it go ! Dont go to restaurant titled “Typical french food’ is only for tourists and not often that good and expensive. I’ll suggest Brasseries, you can find it everywhere is usually good and affordable.
Eat a Chocolatine for breakfast, sort of a croissant with chocolate !
There are so many traditional food in France that you’ll need about a month to taste all !!
The Hilton. Down some side crack street maybe. Full american breakfast available on tap
ha ha a 7 course meal does not mean lots of food, sometimes a meal can last 4 or 5 hrs
wine is a rip off …. a 50 euro bottle of wine is sold to buyers in paris for a little as 4 or 5 euro.. wine farmers get ripped all the time
you just have to look about everyones taste is different
