Tattoo Ideas For A New York Souvenir?

I’m going to New York with my boyfriend in September and we’re thinking of getting a small tattoo as a souvenir. It’s our dream trip and we’ve been saving for it for years.
I want something not too tacky and quite original – either something matching or something that could maybe be split or in some way related…one idea I had was to both get the grid reference of a special place or our favourite place when we go over there. Of course, there’s all the typical NY-related symbols too – but just wanted other ideas.
I want the tatt to be small and as a black outline or in one colour. It will probably go on our inner wrists or feet…
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

    Here are a few ideas:
    The skyline.
    The Co-ordinates of where you stayed.
    An apple.
    “I heart NY”
    Statue of liberty
    Or, you could get something to remind you of your favourite memory of when you went.
    ..or, a quote about your time there :)

    Or a luggage tag that says New York (or NY)?
