I am putting together a 55 gallon saltwater tank with 20 gallon sump underneath, Berlin method of filtration. I’m looking into purchasing a high quality protein skimmer. What’s out there that is quality and worth my money?

Where can an angler do some fishing off of the Long Island shores without too much of a hassle? Looking to catch Bass and Blues. Any additional info would be helpful. I have my fishing license. Looking to stay in Nassau County or western Suffolk.
