So my job will be sending me over to either Chicago or Raleigh, North Carolina at mid year for at least 3 years..
Im scared !
Yeah America is exciting and I kinda dreamed of it, but I’ve also read such ugly things about how they see Indians out there !
They think we’re convenience store guys and cabbies – all because of the Simpsons lol
Im westernized fully, but Im unsure that I want to put up with nonsense at this stage in my life.. Can anyone tell me how Indians get on in America , and if it will be safe for me to go ?
Its a great job, I couldnt say no if pushed

I tried so hard to find it, but I couldn’t. I was just at the movies and there was this trailer for a funny movie–except, I forgot the name. All I could remember was that it was about a foreign president or king(?) from the Middle East with like a lot of facial hair, who came to New York. I think it was PG-13. I don’t know if this helps, but there was this one part when he was running a race and shot the other runners with a runner’s (?) gun or something like that…. Please Help!

So I’m 14 years old and I have the strangest desire to surf. Like it’s all I think about sometimes and I when I see it, it’s the most beautiful thing and all I want is to do it. I’m from California but I currently live in Ohio so I can’t just go to the beach (and also because of my age). What do I do?!?! I want it soooo bad and I have this itching feeling to go back to Los Angeles and surf and live on the beach but I can’t. I think it spurs from my love of the ocean and hometown, and thinking about it sometimes makes me want to cry. I’m not an Ohio girl and to be honest I hate it here. I just need to write this all down and get help about my desire. I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense but WHAT DO I DO?!?!

Ok next saturday we were leaving for Orlando, and me and my parents don’t know what to bring can you please help us out:P and this si my first plane ride what should i bring??

So I recently moved, to a little town in Maine… Now my daughter (8) has a cat and we generally like to keep it indoors…
Well, my daughter was in Chicago with the rest of the family, and apparently the cat got hit by a car and ended up infront of my neighbor’s house…
Well, I knew she would be heartbroken, and didn’t know what to tell her… So my neighbor said that he had a solution, and took me into to woods behind my house to bury it a special place…
Then he told me that there was no need to tell my little girl that the cat was dead… Which I didn’t get… But then the next morning, the cat was out side the house… I couldn’t believe it!
It does not seem to be the same though… It is very agressive and has really weird, almost “spooky” eyes…
Really not sure what to do, I know that it was dead when we burried it… Does this happen a lot with cats? Has anybody had a cat that this happend to?

I’m 14 and a friend and I plan on running away soon. Not permanentley just a week or so. Where is the best place for us to go? Baltimore? New york city? Will we be able to sleep outside or in churches? Please don’t tell me not to go. just give me tips and advice

Ok so for spring break I am going to Montreal with about 3 friends. We’re staying at the Montreal Central Hostel (about 5 minutes outside Latin Quarter by foot according to the hostel). We are only staying for 2-3 nights so my question is if anyone has any recommendations for:
1) cool bars, lounges, pubs, etc…
2) cheap food
3) sights to see that aren’t pricey
4) Overall safety of the city (places to go/avoid)
