Hi. I have applied to the following programs for this fall 2010:
1. University of Edinburgh -MSc International Business and Emerging Markets
2. Lancaster University – Msc International Business
3. King’s College – Msc International Management
4. University of Birmingham – Msc International Business
I would like to ask which one I should attend? Which program is the best? I really can’t tell the differences by looking at their programs. They all sound very similar. Could you please give me some suggestions? I am an international student and have never been to the UK before. In this case, I don’t really know about the reputation of each university. I am thinking about going to University of Edinburgh because they have already accepted me. While I am waiting to hear from other universities, I would like to hear some opinions from you guys. Which one would you choose out of these four? Could you rate them from 1 to 4 for me? I would like to attend a good university that has good career opportunities after I complete the 1-year Msc program. I just want a university in a nice location that has good access to transportation. Please help me making the right decision!
Msc U Of Edinburgh, Lancaster Univ, U Of Birmingham Or King’s College?

I would rate these as
1. University of Edinburgh (heard it has a really good atmosphere) [FT Business School Ranking 2010 = 89] [World Ranking = 23]
2. King’s College (Well known. Entry to course is very competitive) [World Ranking = 23 ]
3.Lancaster University [World Ranking = 162] [FT Business School Ranking 2010 = 24]
4. University of Birmingham [World Ranking = 75]
Hope this helps
In terms of money wise your best choice would be Edinburgh. You would still have to pay for your course but I think you can get help whereas Students in England don’t have help from the government. Edinburgh University is one of the best in the world. My advice would be to go there. Edinburgh is a beautiful city with a wealth of things to do from lots of clubs, pubs, cinemas, theatres, galleries etc
I’m Scottish so yeah come to Scotland for one of the best educations in the world
