I know a toddler wont remember the experience but I was wondering do they have rides and things they can enjoy. My son will be 2 in October and I was thinking of a Orlando trip around Christmas time.

Many, many people have taken their toddlers to Disney World and had a wonderful time.
I’ve taken both my kids to Disneyland on a regular basis since they were about 8 months old each. There are many rides and experiences at both parks that are appropriate for toddlers. I would suggest checking out some Walt Disney World vacation planning forums like http://www.disboards.com or http://www.miceage.com.
Of course! Disneyworld has little rides you can take with your child. Also the pictures and things you can take with the characters there will be really cute! It will be something for you to remember and put in an album and then later when they are older you can go back again for them!
I’ve taken my son and he actually learned to walk there!! He enjoyed all the sights and smells and calm, soothing, easy rides with me! I plan on returning one day with him so he can re-visit and remember it on his own!
Good luck and have fun!
There are tons of things he can do in every park. Christmas time is such a nice time to go but it will be packed! Actually, the parks are always packed except in the last two weeks of September. I’ve been taking my son since he was about 4 months old. Now, he’s 2 and it works out best if we go right when the parks open, leave for a few hours in the afternoon for naps/showers then come back to fireworks in Magic Kingdom, Fantasmic in Hollywood Studios or Illuminations in Epcot. My son LOVES the fireworks in MK- stand by the Dumbo ride to get views of both sides of the fireworks and less crowded than other areas too. We were there this past April for my sons 2nd b’day and watched the fireworks on his bday. He was so happy.
You will be amazed if you’ve never been before. I’ve been countless times (annual passholder) and I’m still amazed by all the stuff I learn when I go.
Why don’t you save that money and take him when he is like 5. That’s only three more years. If you want to do something fun for him now, go to a zoo or something along that line. I went to Disneyworld when I was 10 and I still wish I was older.
