Here is what I got:
I got 22349 (a) Violation. I went 91 in 65 mile zone. (Not Reckless driving)
Reason: Freeway was empty, so It felt that I was going slow. Anyways, I will be more careful in the future. I admit my guilt and I would like to pay the fine.
I researched Internet, and the most common answer was: Between $300 and $400, plus a traffic school.
Also, my friends told me to ask to see the Judge and ask them politely to reduce the fine if possible. I’m honestly living from the pay check to the pay check, so this would be an option. Can someone please help me with this one?
I also heard that it is possible to settle a Monthly payments with the court. It would be an amazing option. Is this a rumor or is it truth?
As I said earlier, I admit my guilt and I would love to pay it. Since I am first time having this, I do not know anything about it. Thank you for any help!

22349 for 26 MPH over 65 would total, including all fees and assessments, $465 plus one point.
However, what you should ask the judge to do is to lower the speed to 90. Going 16-25 over is a fine of $340, and it’s quite possible that the officer made a 1 MPH error (or was being a d*ck, but you shouldn’t say that in court). You may or may not be able to do a payment plan.
Ignore John S’s answer; you need to get approval to take traffic school, and need to use a court-approved school.
However, I’m not sure that traffic school is an option at that speed.
Another thing I remember hearing is if you enroll and attend a remedial driving class before your court date the judge may be more inclined to go easy on you since your showing initiative and the willingness to reform.
You’re probably looking at right around $250 for the violation.
On a first violation, you are eligible for traffic school on any speeding citation. Someone in my traffic school class received a citation for going 64 over the speed limit… Yeah.
If you go to traffic school, your traffic ticket will not be reported to the DMV, your insurance will not go up, and you will not get any points on your record. The only people that will know are you, the issuing Police Dept, the county court house, and the traffic school.
You can set up any type of payment schedule for your traffic citation. The court is very lenient. They even extend court dates and extend the date you have to pay your ticket by. They did for me!
tonalc2 has given you the right amount on the fine, and a very good suggestion to go to court and ask that the fine be reduced since the officer was being pretty unreasonable in citing you for 1 mph over the point where the fine changes. (Give her best answer.) Also, in most places traffic school is not automatically available unless your speed is 25 mph over the limit or less, so the court would most likely impose the smaller fine AND allow you to go to traffic school. That will add $50 to the fine, but keep it off your record.
(I’m not the John S whose answer she said to ignore.)
