Could This 2 States Go To War, If Another Country Did That To Another Country They Would?

   You know, I hope California holds out just long enough for us to get a new Congress and Senate
   That way when they come begging for a bailout when they go bankrupt, we have the votes to tell them to “shove it”
   I would like to just cut off their funding, and let them whither and fade away. Not to mention cut off their energy. After all, those windmills should do the trick, right?

   The Japs attacked because they wanted to extend their empire. They thought if they defeated America (as they did to Russia in 1905) they would take China, Australia, even Hawaii. Pearl Harbor was an act of terrorism and it’s a pity America didn’t drop more atom bombs

   Different states of the United States of American cannot legally go to war. The last time they tried this was 150 years ago and a precedence was set that States cannot war against each other.

   Since when has it been a legitimate excuse to attack another country if that country decides to quit trading with you???
   That was a reason used by Japan and later used in Propaganda during the cold war to get people to quit hating Japan.
   In reality, Japan did not invade or attempt to capture one oil producing region, which would have been one of the priorities if they were going to war for oil.
   Japan had been on an expansionist war front for ten years preceding the attack on the U.S. Japans goal was to dominate all of the Pacific Ocean. They preached it was their God Given Right to Rule the Inferior Races found in the U.S. and in Asia.
   The went as far as could in Manchuria and was stopped by the Soviet Army, then they went south into China. When they had what they wanted carved out of China the next step was to expand into Indonesia and the South Pacific. To do that, they had to nuetralize the U.S. presence in the region, thus the attack on Pearl Harbor, and then the incursion into Indonesia and the South Pacific.
   No oil producing regions were ever threatened or attacked by Japanese Forces. They were after an empire, not oil.

   No, states don’t go to war with each other. LA’s threat to start a trade war is hollow. The U.S. Constitution gives the federal government all power to regulate interstate trade. The Constitution does not give any such power to LA.
   Forget it. This is all political posturing on the part of California politicians who have already wrecked their own economy, so now they’re trying to export their insanity to another state.

   It would be difficult for 2 4tates to go to war, since the Armed Forces are commanded by the President. If it did happen it would be by way of the States National Guard which does fall under the jurisdiction of the Govenor. I hope Texas backs Arizona and cuts off California. This could be the 1st skirmish of the 2nd U.S. Civil War.
