Having visited over 20 islands, I like them all. It’s like asking which place in the US or Europe do you like.
Every island has somewhat different scenery, different levels of friendliness among the locals, different languages (English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Creole), different levels of expense, etc.
One thing for sure is that there is great food on each one! And great weather. Pick one that sounds interesting and in your budget and have fun!
Dominica is great. There is a lot to do, especially if you are fond of nature. The island is
truly nature’s paradise.
Accommodation can be arranged easily and there’s lots to eat.
My vote would go to Jamaica. You have to take a look at Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid. They are brand new resorts in Jamaica and from what I’m told they are absolutely amazing. I haven’t had a chance to travel to them yet, but I am hoping to in the near future. I have, however, been to Secrets Capri in Mexico. The service was top notch, the staff was very nice and the food was delicious! I have no doubt that these resorts will be the same way. Good luck with your decision!
